Dr. Divya Mishra is a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at Kansas State University, United State of America. With the help of the CRISPR-CAS13 system, she is trying to make viruses and nematode-resistant plants. She did her Ph.D. from the National Institute of Plant Genome Research, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India. In her Ph.D. study discovered the important role of key regulatory molecules in the high-temperature conditions in wheat. She obtained her master’s degree from the School of Lifesciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University. There she was involved to understand the “Role of AMPK Tumor suppressor in the expression of gene pyruvate kinase M in cancer metabolism”. She published various research articles and book chapters in international peer-reviewed journals and publication houses. Recently, she published her research on coronavirus in Journal of clinical virology. Another study on coronavirus is in communication with Plos Biology. She has knowledge and experience in working in a diverse field.
